Another Academy has this year come to its end leaving all participants and facilitators with the best of memories and feelings for its success. The Academy 2013 this year took place in Malle, Belgium, from 29 October to 3^rd of November, was organized by the Europe Region WAGGGS and the European Scout Region and was hosted by the Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen and Federatie voor Open Scoutisme.

This year more than 170 participants had the opportunity to learn more on several topics related to three learning paths: education, governance and representation. Sessions like “Youth Programme 2020”, “Growth Strategies” and “Innovative approaches to adult learning and development” were some of the many that were facilitated in this year’s Academy.  

All the participants, the facilitators and the support team evaluated this year’s Academy as an overall successful event, and the feedback received set the barrier even higher for The Academy 2014. Next year’s Academy will be hosted in Belgrade, Serbia from the 4^th till the 9^th of November 2014 so we are looking forward to seeing you all there!
