The Academy 2012 will be held in Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC), between 26 October – 30 October 2012 (Friday – Tuesday).

The basic aim of the Academy is to provide an integrated solution to training and sharing experiences in many aspects of Scouting and Guiding, and to give a holistic approach to development, concentrating on key aspects of the Regional Plans.

In 2012, the Academy will specifically focus on Embracing Change, one of the three joint areas of work, as well as on development issues, including management of associations and personal development.

The event will be modular to allow self-selection of a training schedule. Modules will be offered more than once and the event will enable participants to choose their own pace of learning. The programme will start on Thursday evening with an introductory session and continue until Monday evening.
