CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: European Scout Communications Forum 2018 (Regional Circular 05 2018)
The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), in collaboration with the Estonian Scout Association, is pleased to invite you to the European Scout Communications Forum 2018, which will be held from 31 May to 3 June 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia.
The topic of Public Image of Scouting has not been strongly present in the plans of the European Scout Region for some years. The European Scout Conference in Norway in 2016 changed that and decided that communications should become one of the important issues of the 2016 – 2019 triennium. Also, the World Scout Conference in Baku repeatedly confirmed the Public Image of Scouting as one of the key areas of development. The European Scout Communications Forum 2018 will be the most important event of the Region dealing with this topic.

REMINDER: Dialogue for Peace Training and Workshop 2018 (Regional Circular 04 2018)
5 February 2018 is the deadline for declaring your interest to be considered a participant of the upcoming “Dialogue for Peace Training and Workshop”.
So, if you have not done so, register now following the guidelines published with our Regional Circular 33 2017.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: Partnerships Event in Copenhagen (DK): 12-15 April 2018 (Regional Circular 03 2018)
KFUM-Spejderne i Danmark, in collaboration with the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movmeent (WOSM), on behalf of The Partnerships Network and in cooperation with the event’s previous and next hosting organisations, are pleased to invite you and your partner organisations to the Partnership Event 2018, which will be held in Copenhagen, Denkmark, from 12 to 15 April 2018.

CALL FOR PATH LEADERS: WOSM Rover Centenary Paths at Roverway 2018 (Regional Circular 34 2017)
Do you want to experience Roverway 2018 as an organiser of one of the WOSM Rover Centenary Paths at Roverway 2018? Are you willing to take the challenge of defining, planning and implementing a Path programme for 50 Rovers during Roverway 2018 in the Netherlands? Do you have a friend with whom you feel comfortable working with and whom you trust to form a national team to deliver a WOSM “Centenary of Rovering” Path?
We are looking for 10 teams to deliver 10 “Centenary” Routes next summer in the Netherlands! This is a new opportunity which arose as a result of Roverway planning (hence the short deadline) but we are sure that there is enough experience, interest and excitement in Europe to provide 10 unforgettable set of experiences to 500 Rovers next year in the Netherlands!
Note the short deadline for this call and make sure to signal your interest by 15 January 2018!

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: Dialogue for Peace In Europe, Training and Workshop (Regional Circular 33 2017)
In line with objectives set in the European Regional Scout Plan 2016 – 2019 and following the successful implementation of the Work Plan 2017 “Scouting for Peace” project co-financed by the Council of Europe – European Youth Foundation, the Messenger of Peace Support Fund and in collaboration with KAICIID – The International Dialogue Centre, it was decided to continue the collaboration between the European Scout Region and KAICIID – The International Dialogue Centre in Peace Education and to organise a Training and Workshop under the title “Dialogue for Peace in Europe: Through Intercultural, Interreligious Dialogue and Spiritual Development” at Wassergspreng Scout Centre, near Vienna, Austria, in March 2018.
The “Dialogue for Peace in Europe: Through Intercultural, Interreligious Dialogue and Spiritual Development” aims at:
– Training young leaders willing to support the work of the European Scout Interreligious Forum (ESIF), the Spiriteco Network and the Overture Network as Dialogue for Peace Facilitators, and
– to enhance the Dialogue for Peace manual with reference documents and activities on interreligious and intercultural dialogue and spiritual development.
KAICIID experts will provide the participants with knowledge on human perceptions and misperceptions, cultural identities, the principles of dialogue, and designing and facilitating dialogue.
