CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – European Seminar on Growth in Scouting 2019 (Regional Circular 08 2019)
The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is pleased to invited represetnatives of Member Organisations in Europe to the second European Seminar on Growth in Scouting which is scheduled to take place in Strasbourg, France, from 22 to 26 May 2019. At this event, Member Organisations from all over Europe can meet, learn about the various aspects of Growth and share experiences, as well as ideas and knowledge regarding the growth in their associations. Make sure to register before 20 April 2019.

BRIEF UPDATE & RESOLUTIONS TEMPLATE – Extra-ordinary Meeting of the European Scout Conference 2019 (Regional Circular 07 2019)
Further to its Regional Circular 01 2019 and as part of the preparations for the Extra-ordinary meeting of the European Scout Conference this coming March 2019, please note that the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) has published a list of actions Member Organisations should undertake in advance of the meeting. These are listed in Regional Circular 07 2019.
Please remember to register for the Extra-ordinary meeting. As of the time of this message, there are 11 NSOs registered. However, there is a second list of current registrations for the European Scout Symposium – which is held immediately after the Conference – indicating that 25 NSOs will be present at the Symposium AND the Extra-ordinary meeting, meaning that 14 NSOs (of the 25) have not registered for the Extra-ordinary meeting. In addition, and based on these numbers, a total of 15 NSOs appear not to have registered yet at all. To register, please use this form!
INVITATION TO CROWDCAST – content of the Extraordinary Meeting of the European Scout Conference 2019 (Regional Circular 06 2019)
As previously advised in Regional Circular 01 2019, the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement plans a crowdcast on the content of the Extra-ordinary Meeting of the European Scout Conference.
We now need to change the date of the crowdcast to Tuesday 5 February at 20.30 CET (8.30pm).

- Please also note that the European Scout Committee is preparing a comprehensive question and answer document on the proposal to reschedule the European Scout Conference to be available prior to the International Commissioners’ Forum where a session on this topic will be provided.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – Scouts & Guides I/O 2019 Event (Joint Communication 01 2019)
The ICT Network for Scouts & Guides of the European Regions of WAGGGS and WOSM presents its Scouts & Guides I/O 2019 Event, which will take place in Prague, Czechia, from 7 to 10 February 2019.
In the digital world, the way Scouts and Guides engage in programme, training and Scout and Guide activities is changing and this brings challenges when strategies are devised and methods developed and created in our organisations.
The overall goal of the ICT Network fro Scouts and Guides is to help Scouts and Guides whenever they think about applying or using technology in their Member Organisation. By doing this, the ICT Network wants to set the digital guideposts for Member Organisations. At the Scouts & Guides I/O Event Scouts and Guides gather to get inspired, grow connections with people and take a step forward on the path towards a digital Scouting and Guiding world.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – Fundraisers’ Network Meeting 2019 (Regional Circular 05 2019)
The European Scout Region is pleased to invite you to the Fundraisers’ Network Meeting, which will be held in Prague, Czechia, from 31 May – 3 June 2019. The deadline for registrations is 1 March 2019.
This meeting is organised by the European Scout Region to offer Member Oragnisations an opportunity to share relevant best practices, challenges and needs in the field of fundraising, with a special focus on crowdfunding this year. The overall idea of the network is to share and create information about on-going practices and resources in funding, as well as to provide a platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
