Regional Circular 12 2017: Open Call to recruit Regional Volunteers: Finance Support Group (3) and Volunteer Management Team (1)
The European Scout Region recently closed the initial round of recruitment for the teams supporting the delivery of the Regional Scout Plan. At present, we advise of two opportunities for additional recruitment in the Supporting our Finances and Continuous Improvement Areas of Operation:
1) Supporting our Finances Area of Operation– Financial Support Group (three vacancies)
2) Continuous Improvement Area of Operation – Volunteer Management Team (one vacancies)

Call for a Communications and External Relations Officer
The World Scout Bureau – Europe Support Centre, Brussels, part of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), is seeking a Communications and External Relations Officer.
The person hired will support the Communication of the European Scout Region together with a group of volunteers working on communication, and will provide support to National Scout Organisations in their own communication. The Communications and External Relations Officer will also support the External relations area through the organisation of visibility events and other representation activities towards the European Institutions. The person will work under the supervision of the Director for External Relations and Funding. A limited amount of travel within Europe will be required.
If you are interested, make sure that your application (including a letter of motivation and a curriculum vitae in English) reaches the Europe Support Centre no later than 17.00 CET on Monday 15 May 2017. Shortlisted candidates will be advised by Wednesday 17 May 2017 and interviews will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 23,24 May 2017 for a start date as soon as possible, depending on the availability of the selected person.

Regional Circular 7 – [URGENT ACTION] – Call for Partners: four Erasmus+ Applications for Regional Events in 2017 & 2018
The European Scout Region of WOSM is inviting members organisations to consider becoming partners in four Erasmus+ projects in 2017 and 2018. The applications will be submitted at national level by the respective host assocaitions:
– Management of Volunteers in Scouting (MOVIS), Spain, 7-10 December 2017
– 9th Educational Methods Forum, Romania, 31 May – 3 June 2018
– Regional Communications Event, Estonia, 31 May – 3 June 2018
– European Agora, Ireland, in April 2018

Regional Circular 3 2017 – Job Opportunity at the Brussels Office: Funding Officer
The World Scout Bureau – Europe Support Centre, Brussels, part of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), is seeking a Funding Officer.
The person hired will support the development of funding applications to European donors and support the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy. The person will work under the supervision of the Director for External Relations and Funding. The successful applicant will also be at the service of all National Scout Organisations in Europe to strengthen their access to funding. A limited amount of travel within Europe will be required.
If you are interested, make sure that your application (including a letter of motivation and a curriculum vitae in English) reaches the Europe Support Centre no later than 17.00 CET on Wednesday 1 February 2017. Shortlisted candidates will be advised by Monday 6 February 2017 and interviews will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 16 February 2017 for a start date as soon as possible, depending on the availability of the selected person.
