14th European Guide and Scout Conference will take place between 16-21 August in Berlin, Germany. The venue for the Conferences is andel’s Hotel, Berlin and our hosts have already prepared initial information for you and your delegation.

Berlin is a lively world city which has undergone the most remarkable transformation over recent years. It is truly wonderful that our friends in Germany are ready to host our European Conferences and to do so with style and energy.

The theme of the Conference is “Be Prepared, Be There, Be Berlin”

You find all relevant information on the following Conference websites:

1) The Official Conference Website of the 14th European Guide and Scout Conference – www.europeanconference.de: This is where you find all details about the hosting German Guide and Scout Federations, as well as about the conference registration, accommodation possibilities and travel tips. The site also carries details on social events and explains the environmental concept of the Conference.

2) A second, smaller Programme and Documents Website is hosted on the Joint Regional web platform europak – 14egsc.europak-online.net: This is where you find all relevant conference documents and details about the core programme of the Conference. During the event itself, this site will provide possibilities for e-participation, feature a conference blog and serve as interface for the different social media channels.

Both website will be interlinked to facilitate easy traffic from one sit to the other and back.

A number of official social media channels will be used prior an, during and after the Conference. For the moment, a the Conference Facebook page has been set up – www.facebook.com/14egsc – and a Twitter account has been created – www.twitter.com/14egsc (when posting tweets related to the Conference, please post with the official Conference hash-tag #14egsc).
