(WSBERO/Geneva) – In an effort to increase the number of candidates for election to the new European Scout Committee at next year’s European Scout Conference in Berlin, Germany, the current European Scout Committee is organising a briefing meeting for potential candidates and their NSOs. Two former members of the Committee, Lidija Pozaić Frketic and George Hourdakis, have agreed to facilitate this meeting, which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, over the weekend of 10-11 November 2012. An official invitation as well as the registration form will be circulated in due course, but interested candidates and/or their NSOs may already signal their intention to participate by contacting the European Regional Office.
