23rd EUROPEAN SCOUT CONFERENCE – New Conference Circulars
The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) has released a number of new Conference Circulars concerning the 23rd European Scout Conference, which is scheduled to take place in Split, Croatia, from 24 to 28 August 2019.

7th European Scout Symposium
We are pleased to invite key decision makers of Member Organisations in the European Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) to the 7th European Scout Symposium, scheduled to take place in Valletta, Malta, from 29 to 31 March 2019.
The Symposium is an important event in the life of the European Scout Region when it looks back on what was achieved in the triennium, on what is hoped to be achieved by the end of the tirennium, on what needs to change and on what will be done in future triennia. The event will help set the agenda for work leading to the development of the Regional Scout Plan for the period 2019 and beyond (see also Regional Circular 24 2018 for more details about this development process).
The Symposium will take place immediately after the Extraordinary Meeting of the European Scout Conference, held at the same venue on 29 March 2019.

Suite à une demande du Forum des Commissaire internationaux de publier une liste d’options que le Comité Européen du Scoutisme de l’Organisation Mondiale du Mouvement Scout (OMMS) aurait discutées ou considérées comme des alternatives à la proposition de changement-de-cycle, le Comité Européen du Scoutisme fait circuler ce document de dicussion après sa réunion du 10 mars 2019.

DISCUSSION PAPER – Alignment Options in Europe (Regional Circular 14_EN 2019)
Following a request at the International Commissioners’ Forum to publish a list of options that the Committe would have discussed or thought of as alternatives to its change-of-cycle proposal, the European Scout Committee of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is circulating a Discussion Paper after its meeting on 10 March 2019.

The intention is to further facilitate the dicussion on the proposal or alternative arrangements. The list of options is not deemed as complette or final but reflects the options discussed by the Committee.

International Commissioners’ Forum 2019
The European Regional Committees of WAGGGS and WOSM have agreed that they will organise, in cooperation with Savez Izviđača Srbije (Савез Извиђача Србије, the Scout Association of Serbia), the International Commissioners’ Forum 2019 with a number of objectives including:
- Providing an opportunity for sharing experiences between International Commissioners;
- Provide a platform to offer induction training to new International Commissioners;
- To provide an opportunity to review progress on work resulting from the strategic partnership and to inform planning of future work in partnership;
- To stimulate new ideas, tools and services.
The IC Forum 2019 is scheduled to take place at Hotel 88 Room in Belgrade, Serbia, from 22 to 24 February 2019.
The participation fee is subject to the desired accommodation at the hotel:
- shared twin room EUR 336 (EUR 112 per night)
- single room EUR 470 (EUR 157 per night)
- shared triple room EUR 306 (EUR 102 per night)
