#MyEuropeMySay Youth Events in France
The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and its partners in the “My Europe, My Say!” project are inviting interested members of National Scout Organisations and Associations (NSOs/NSAs) and AEGEE local organisations to join two youth events, happening at the same time and focussing on “Multiculturalism and European Citizenship”and “Europe and Me: Understand, Mobilise, Act!” organised in Morbecque and Strasbourg between 16-22 February 2019 by the European Scout Region, Scouts et Guides de France (SGDF) and Eclaireuses Eclaireurs de France (EEDF).
The youth events will offer a 5-day intensive insight into the importance of youth participation in Europe with a side focus on the upcoming European Elections 2019. The five-day events will gather participants who want to learn about European politics and processes. Participants will create an action plan that they can implement in their local Scout group and with their peers to mobilise young people around youth participation issues.
The events are co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

CALL TO JOIN 4-month campaign: #MyEuropeMySay – Youth Voice for the Future of Europe (Regional Circular 33 2018)
Under the title #MyEuropeMySay – Youth Voice for the Future of Europe, the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WSOM) is inviting all Member Organisations (NSOs/NSAs) to join a 4-month long European campaign to engage and empower young people to be active citizens.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: European Youth Event 2018 (Regional Circular 32 2017)
The European Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is calling for participants to join activities organised on the occasion of the European Union’s upcoming European Youth Event (EYE 2018) which will take place in Strasbourg (France) between 30 May and 3 June 2018. The European Parliament will once again open its doors to 8000 young people from all over Europe in an effort to engage them in political debate and society, giving highlight to important key issues such as peace, democracy, unemployment, work and environment. The EYE 2018 will include a large variety of activities run under the motto “The plan is to fan this spark into a flame” in a political, social and cultural sense. It is a huge opportunity to meet young Europeans and make youth and our ideas visible to decision-makers.
Next to the premises of the European Parliament there will be the YO!Fest, a youth-led festival organised by the European Youth Forum that takes place every year in front of symbolic places of the EU institutions. The YO!Fest combines high-level policy debates, thematic workshops, educational activities, cultural animations and live music into a unique experience.

Memorandum of Understanding – Europe Region WAGGGS and the European Scout Region of WOSM
At its most recent meeting, the Joint Committee of the Europe Region WAGGGS and the European Scout Region of WOSM approved the text of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enable our relationship to continue to be fruitful for all parties.
