RoverNet & VentureNet Meeting 2016
One of the main conclusions from the previous RoverNet and VentureNet Meetings was the need and desire of Venture and Rover Commissioners to continue to have exchange opportunities and to continue to meet regularly as a network.
As a result, in cooperation with the Italian Scout Federation, the European Scout Region is is organising a meeting for National Commissioners for Rovers and Venture Scout age sections in Rome, Italy. While it is considered one event, some of the programme and the content of the meetings are separate and different.
RoverNet, being at its 6th edition and following a long series of European initiatives defined for this age section (Roverway, Agora, youth exchanges, youth empowerment, etc.) will try to build on existing projects and programme frameworks.
VentureNet, at its 3rd edition, aims to consolidate the network and explore the possibilities for future cooperation, potential partnerships and Regional support initiatives/frameworks.
For more information, please check Regional Circular 21 2016 (English only).

The Academy 2016 – Together We Are Stronger
What is The Academy?
The Academy is the European Scout Region’s and the Europe Region WAGGGS’ unique Scout and Guide event designed to provide participants with high quality training and networking opportunities around the core priorities of the European Regions of WAGGGS and WOSM.
Who should attend The Academy?
The event is open to everyone holding a position at National Level in any of our Associations in the European Region, from members of particular working groups to Chief Commissioners.
Most associations will send participants that hold positions in specific areas of work. Previous Academies show that most are active in the field of Governance (as Commissioners, development team or board members), in the field of Educational Methods/Education (as trainers or those responsible for programme/education) or in the field of Representation (in communications or advocacy, for example). The Academy 2016 offers a broad range of sessions addressing matters of interest to all these different groups of participants.
Find out more about The Academy 2016 and how to register in the Joint Communication:

We very much hope to see all of you, new and old, networking to make the European Regions more open and inclusive.
All relevant information about the event is contained in the Invitation and Practical Information.
