2nd Growth Event of the European Scout Region

As a follow-up to the 1st Growth Event held in 2018, the European Scout Region is organising its 2nd Growth Event in Paris, France, from 22 to 26 May 2019. Representatives of NSAs and NSOs will discuss challenges and review existing and develop new strategies to achieve growth goals set at the recent European and World Scout Conferences.

The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is hiring an intern to support our Member Organizations in South East Europe. The position will be based at an office of one of the National Scout Organisation in this sub-region of the European Scout Region.

Regional Circular 28 2017 – Event Information: European Scout Region’s Seminar on Growth in Scouting

Growth is very important and relevant segment for European Scouting. It is part of the Regional Scout Plan and a part of the European Scout Region’s contribution to WOSM global vision where the Region “will actively contribute to the development of World campaigns and initiatives to propose growth of 5% year on year in each and every National Scout Organisation (NSO) in Europe.

To address this important area and to work towards the implementation of the Regional Scout Plan, the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is organising the Seminar on Growth in Scouting where NSO/NSAs from all over Europe can meet, learn about the various aspects of Growth and share experiences, as well as ideas and knowledge regarding the growth in their NSO/NSAs.

Regional Circular 28 2017 contains all relevant event information and the link to the online form where those wishing to attend can signal their interest. Please note that the deadline for doing so is 10 January 2018.
