CALL FOR PATH LEADERS: WOSM Rover Centenary Paths at Roverway 2018 (Regional Circular 34 2017)
Do you want to experience Roverway 2018 as an organiser of one of the WOSM Rover Centenary Paths at Roverway 2018? Are you willing to take the challenge of defining, planning and implementing a Path programme for 50 Rovers during Roverway 2018 in the Netherlands? Do you have a friend with whom you feel comfortable working with and whom you trust to form a national team to deliver a WOSM “Centenary of Rovering” Path?
We are looking for 10 teams to deliver 10 “Centenary” Routes next summer in the Netherlands! This is a new opportunity which arose as a result of Roverway planning (hence the short deadline) but we are sure that there is enough experience, interest and excitement in Europe to provide 10 unforgettable set of experiences to 500 Rovers next year in the Netherlands!
Note the short deadline for this call and make sure to signal your interest by 15 January 2018!

Roverway 2018: Heads of Contigents Registration Now Open
Roverway 2018: Opposites Attract is delighted to announce that the registration of Heads of Contingents (HoC) is now open. Please first click here to display the system in English, and then here to open the registration system.
This is your opportunity to register for up to date information about Roverway 2018 related to your contingent’s plans, gather marketing material to use in your Contingent and learn about our plans for the first HoC Weekend scheduled to take place in Spring 2017.
As a reminder, an outline of the fees for Roverway 2018 for each country is available on the Roverway 2018 website.
The Team of Roverway 2018 is looking forward to receiving the registrations of your HEads of Contigent and to hearing their stories.
Scouting Nederland will be hosting Roverway 2018!
At their recent joint meeting in Athens, the Europe Committee WAGGGS and the European Scout Committee of WOSM considered two bids received from Member Organisations desiring to host Roverway 2018. The Committees had taken an earlier decision to break the three-year rhythm of this event and organise the subsequent Roverway in 2018 to avoid potential clashes with the 24th World Scout Jamboree and the 16th European Guide and Scout Conference, both planned for 2019, the year in which Roverway would normally have been scheduled.
We are pleased to inform you that Scouting Nederland will by hosting Roverway 2018!

Happy New Year to everyone from Roverway 2012 project organization! The Roverway 2012 project organization ant hill has been working hard during the final dates of the registration.
Heads of Contingents from all over the world have been filling the hundreds and yet hundreds of registration forms, and the team is getting ready to form the tribes in order to get started with the preparatory activities, or “Be prepared” as we call them. Did you forget to register? Have you been receiving contacts from people who would still like to join, but didn’t do it yet? No worries, just read further and find out, how you can still join the one and only Rover and Ranger event of 2012!
