Hopefully you are as excited as we are about the European Jamboree 2020 next year and we know that many members of your association will probably have been waiting for the moment to sign up and get involved. Wait no longer as we are pleased today to share with you how you can register as International Service Team (IST) member for this event.
- The International Service Team Positions Catalogue (in English only) provides you with more information about the exciting roles as IST member and the plan for the whole event.
- Interested members of your association should contact you as International Commissioner to signal their interest. Your association’s Head of Contingent for the European Jamboree 2020 would then advise how to proceed further.

Regional Circular 28 2016 – Extended Open Call Recruitment: Regional Treasurer
The deadline of the Open call for the recruitment of the next Treasurer of the European Scout Region (initially launched with Regional Circular 22 2016) has been extended to 10 December 2016. A role description for this position (Annex 1) and the terms of reference of the future Financial Support Group (Annex 2) are attached.
Regional Circular 22 – Open Call Recruitment: Regional Treasurer
The European Scout Region is launching an open a call to recruit a Regional Treasurer to complete the members of the legal entity under which it operates, the World Scout Bureau – European Regional Office (WSB-ERO) which comprises the elected members of the European Scout Committee who are supported by two ex-officio, non-voting members, the Regional Director and the Regional Treasurer.

Survey on Volunteering in Scouting and Guiding
As you know volunteering is one of the areas on which the European Regions of WAGGGS and WOSM are working during the current Triennium. As part of this work and also to follow up our participation in the European Year of Volunteering we have developed a survey to help the regions understand the volunteering that is taking place in Guiding and Scouting and the needs of our Guide and Scout volunteers.
Deadline extended: Ensuring the legacy of the European Year of Volunteering
The European Year of Volunteering 2011 (EYV 2011) is successfully over. However, although the EYV 2011 has ended, our work continues. We must ensure the lasting legacy of the Year – at all levels – and therefore European Committtees of WAGGGS and WOSM circulate this letter with purpose to share with you information about the main outcomes of the Year and inform you of the actions which the Regions are currently undertaking on volunteering, which, as you know, is one of our areas of joint work during this Triennium.
